Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The right-handed SLG200S is Yamaha's steel-string Silent Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst, built around a slim, lightweight format for travel and live performance. Its SRT Powered system recreates the sound of a Yamaha acoustic guitar recorded with a studio microphone, avoiding a conventional miking setup. A side-mounted preamp includes two-band EQ, and the onboard tuner keeps tuning control on the instrument. Headphones support private practice, while an external music player can be connected for playing along. A gig bag is provided for transport.

Who this is for
- Private practice with headphones when playing through an external speaker is not the goal.
