01Will this fit my hi-hat stand?
It mounts to standard threaded hi-hat pull rods, which covers most current stands. Vintage or budget import stands sometimes use a different thread — check yours first.
02Is this a drop clutch?
No. It holds the top hats at a set height. It does not release them to sit closed for double-pedal playing.
03Does it come with felts?
The clutch carries the felts that seat the top cymbal. Felts on the stand's bottom cup are separate.
04Why does my clutch keep loosening?
Usually a worn thread or a lock nut that was never fully seated. A fresh clutch fixes the first; proper tightening fixes the second.
