02Is this the front head or the beater head?
Beater side. It is a batter head, and the reinforced impact patch sits where the beater strikes.
03Will it fit a 22-inch kick?
No. This one is cut for a 24-inch drum. The Powersonic also comes in 18, 20 and 22 inch.
04Coated or clear, what changes?
The coating rolls off some of the attack's top end for a drier, warmer note. A clear head of the same build sounds brighter and more open.
