02Will this fit a 22-inch bass drum?
No. Drum heads are sized to the shell diameter and there is no adjustment. A 24-inch head only fits a 24-inch bass drum.
03Do I still need a pillow inside?
Often not. The head is already dampened at the edge. Start with nothing inside, tune it up, and add muffling only if there's still too much ring.
04Coated or clear for a kick?
