01Can I use this as a front resonant head?
Yes. On the front it gives a controlled, dry tone with less boom. It has no pre-cut port hole, so you would have to cut one yourself for mic access.
02Does it need extra muffling?
Usually not much. The built-in ring already kills most overtones. Many players add only a small amount of internal damping, or none at all.
03Will it fit a 22x18 kick?
Yes. Only the diameter matters for head fit. Shell depth changes the tone, not the head size.
04Is a drum key included?
No. You will need your own key to tension the lugs evenly.
