Ambassador weight works as either. On toms it is commonly used as a batter, but many drummers run Ambassadors top and bottom.
02Will the black film sound different from a clear one?

03Does one order cover a whole tom?
No. This is a single head. A tom with heads on both sides needs two.
04Can I use this on a 14-inch snare?
