Pork PieLittle Squealer Flat Black Snare Drum 12 x 7 in.

The Pork Pie Little Squealer Flat Black Snare Drum is a high-performance snare drum perfect for any style of music. Handcrafted in the USA, this 12" x 7" snare features a solid-maple shell, die-cast hoops, and a flat black finish for enhanced resonance and a warm, balanced tone. With its versatile size and tight, focused sound, the Little Squealer is ideal for recording or live performance. Solid Maple Shell Provides a Perfect Canvas At the heart of the Little Squealer is a solid North American maple shell. Maple is a dense, resonant wood that produces a crisp attack, controlled tone, and pronounced sensitivity. The shell's thickness and wood type are carefully selected by Pork Pie's expert craftsmen to achieve the ideal balance of power and sound. Flat Black Finish Adds Warmth and Character The Little Squealer's flat back finish utilizes a hand-rubbed oil and wax process to enhance the natural beauty of the maple. This finish penetrates the wood to protect the shell while allowing it to resonate freely. Over time, the finish will develop a uniquely warm patina as the drum is played. Die-Cast Hoops Provide Focus and Durability The Little Squealer features die-cast hoops, which provide extra focus and durability. The hoops' dense material helps contain the drum head's vibration for a tight, controlled tone. Die-cast hoops also withstand high-tension tuning and the impacts of aggressive playing. Additional High-Quality Features The Little Squealer also includes 20-strand snare wires for crisp snare response, sturdy chrome hardware and Remo drum heads specifically selected for their versatility and balanced tone. With its blend of innovative design and high-quality components, the Little Squealer delivers professional performance at an affordable price.
