Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a compact four-drum layout, the New Yorker keeps the footprint manageable for players short on room or moving their kit often. The setup combines a 10 in. mounted tom, 13 in. floor tom, 16 in. bass drum, and 14 in. matching snare. Its poplar shells are credited with a warm, full sound despite their compact sizes. Low-mass turret lugs help limit weight and support resonance, and the supplied bass drum lifter places the 16 in. kick for use with a standard pedal.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Students and working drummers looking to conserve room with a compact four-piece configuration.
