Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Paiste’s blue 16-inch Color Sound 900 Crash is a medium-weight crash with a responsive, balanced feel and a full, rounded voice. The sound combines medium-bright definition with full body and warm undertones. Its blue Color Sound coating brings the attack forward, makes the response somewhat drier, and reduces sustain slightly. Because the finish is translucent, the cymbal’s grooves and hammer marks remain visible through the color.
