Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around 61 full-size semi-weighted keys, the FLkey 2 61 gives FL Studio users an extended keyboard range alongside a broad hands-on control surface. Nine faders, eight endless encoders, dedicated workflow controls, and an OLED screen provide access to the Channel Rack, Mixer, Playlist, and plug-ins. Its 16 RGB pads support polyphonic aftertouch, while Scale mode, chord modes, and the arpeggiator help develop parts from the keyboard. USB-C, 5-pin MIDI output, and sustain-pedal input support computer and external-MIDI setups.
Strong match
Who this is for
- FL Studio arrangements needing direct access to the Channel Rack, Mixer, Playlist, and plug-ins.
- Keyboard-led production where 61 full-size semi-weighted keys support wider musical parts.
- Mixing sessions that benefit from nine faders alongside eight endless encoders.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Smaller controller setups where a 61-key layout and nine faders are more than required.
