Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Fillmore 50 is a two-channel tube combo built around Clean, Drive, and Hi settings on each channel. That layout covers clean tones, breakup, and more saturated gain choices without leaving the amp’s front panel. A full/half-power switch supports lower-volume use, while the tube-driven long-tank spring reverb has separate controls for each channel. The buffered series loop provides adjustable send and return levels, and the included one-button footswitch changes channels. It is finished in Baby Blue Bronco with a 1x12 Celestion Custom 90 speaker.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Players moving between clean, drive, and high-gain settings across two independent channels.
- Smaller venues where the full/half-power switch is useful for reducing overall volume.
- Pedal users who need adjustable send and return levels in a buffered series loop.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Switching reverb by foot without purchasing the separately sold reverb footswitch and cable.
