Independent shopping perspective
Made for left-handed players, the D-28 Modern Deluxe combines a non-cutaway dreadnought body with a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and solid-mahogany neck. Its VTS top, dovetail joint and natural protein-glue construction follow a vintage-minded approach, while the carbon-fiber bridgeplate is specified to increase volume without extra weight. The neck has a slight skew intended to support hand comfort along the fingerboard. Gold hardware, flamed maple binding and a pearl script headstock inlay complete the detailed appearance.
