Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Custom Shop 28 Style pairs an Adirondack spruce top and forward-shifted X-bracing with East Indian rosewood back and sides in a right-handed dreadnought format. That combination is described as delivering focused projection, clear response, rich overtones, and full bass across soft and forceful playing. A satin Modified Low Oval neck supports position changes over longer sessions, while the gloss body, herringbone detail, and abalone snowflake markers give the instrument its visual identity. A hardshell case is included for travel and storage.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Fingerstyle work or alternate tunings where rounded response and clear low-volume detail are wanted.
- Dynamic strumming and heavier pick attack that benefit from focused projection and clean response.
