Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Mahalo’s MR1 is a light blue, soprano-size ukulele with a full-gloss finish, Sengon neck and body, and Aquila Nylgut strings already fitted. Its NuBone Extended Bass (XB) saddle is designed to add projection and bass response, while the strings are intended to deliver a fuller, louder, more balanced voice with rich harmonics. A Mahalo carry bag comes with it, so it is ready to take along for lessons or informal playing.
