Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a 14 x 5-inch acrylic shell, the yellow Vistalite brings a bright, articulate attack with strong projection and fast decay. Reinforced seams support the 6mm shell construction, while 45° bearing edges are intended to keep the tone crisp and focused. Vintage '63 18-strand steel wires work with the P88 throw-off for adjustable snare tension. Triple-flanged hoops add tuning stability without closing down the shell’s resonance.
Strong match
Who this is for
- High-volume playing where a cutting attack and strong projection are useful.
