The Korena take
European Cut shaping gives this E♭ clarinet reed a slightly shorter, wider vamp, described as comfortable in the embouchure. Its profile delivers a bright, colorful tone with complexity and is designed to speak promptly throughout the instrument’s lower and upper registers. In use, it is aimed at giving the player enough control to stand forward in a solo while retaining the ability to blend within an ensemble.
