Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Jackson’s DKAF8 MS is an eight-string electric built around a 26- to 28-inch multi-scale fingerboard. The design uses two scale lengths, with staggered individual saddles made to accommodate them; the multi-scale layout is intended to improve playing comfort, tension, and intonation. Its mahogany arched-top body joins a graphite-reinforced, bolt-on one-piece maple neck, while the 12- to 16-inch compound-radius laurel fingerboard carries 24 jumbo frets. Two uncovered Jackson eight-string blade humbuckers are controlled by a three-way toggle, master volume, and tone.
