Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Finished in Red Crystal, the right-handed Soloist SLA2 combines a neck-through three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck and graphite reinforcement with a gloss nyatoh body. The 12–16 inch compound-radius ebony fingerboard carries 24 frets, giving chord work at the lower end and lead playing farther up the neck distinct working areas. Seymour Duncan JB and ’59 humbuckers are selected through a five-position blade switch. Its recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and locking nut suit players who use dives, flutters, bends, and vibrato techniques.
