Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a neck-through-body design, the Pro Plus Soloist SL2 combines a 3-piece maple/walnut/maple neck, graphite reinforcement, and an ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets. Its Seymour Duncan Distortion neck and bridge humbuckers feed a five-way selector, giving you full-pickup and split-coil combinations from the same control layout. The recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and locking nut suit players who use the bar as part of their regular lead and riff work.
Strong match
Who this is for
- High-gain riff and lead sessions needing full-humbucker or split-coil selections from a five-way blade.
- Players who regularly use dive bombs and other tremolo techniques during rehearsals or stage sets.
