Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a mahogany body, poplar burl top, and slim five-piece Atlas neck, the right-handed SR2600 pairs a light-weight SR design with a thick, bold tonal character. Two Nordstrand Big Single pickups run through an Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ, with EQ bypass and a mid-frequency switch for changing the bass's response. Its Mono-rail 5S bridge offers a wider intonation-adjustment range, and each saddle can move the string spacing 1.5 mm wider or narrower.
Strong match
Who this is for

- Changing the bass response with the three-band EQ, EQ bypass, and mid-frequency switch.
- Four-string parts where a 34-inch scale and 24 frets suit the required layout.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
