Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The RG450QMB combines a quilted maple top and meranti body with Ibanez’s Wizard III maple neck for a six-string built around fast, detailed playing. Its 24-fret jatoba fingerboard extends the range for high-register parts, while the Quantum HSH pickup layout and five-way switch give you several pickup selections from one guitar. The Edge-Zero II tremolo uses a locking nut and stud-lock function to support pitch effects while maintaining tuning stability. Transparent Gray Burst and gloss finish complete the stage-ready look.

- Technical lead work and rapid passages that use the 24-fret Wizard III neck.

Consider the trade-offs
