Sonitech 3-band EQ with Hexa mid system
Treble, bass and mid boost/cut are available, with two selectable midrange banks for more targeted mid control.

Independent shopping perspective
Ibanez’s IV1SR is a right-handed, five-string SR Visions bass from an eight-piece run. Its swamp ash body and Bastogne walnut top pair with a five-piece S-TECH maple/purpleheart Atlas HP neck and pale moon ebony fingerboard. Two Nordstrand Big Single pickups feed the Sonitech preamp, giving the player active three-band EQ, selectable midrange banks, a passive tone control and EQ bypass. The MR5S bridge also allows each saddle’s string spacing to be adjusted by ±1.5 mm, so setup can be tailored to the player.
