Independent shopping perspective
Built around a 37–34.5-inch multi-scale layout, the BTB866MS gives its low B a longer scale while the high C uses the shorter end of the range. Neck-through construction joins a five-piece maple/walnut neck with ash top and back and okoume wings. Two T1 humbuckers feed a custom 3-band EQ, with three selectable mid centers and an EQ bypass that turns the treble control into a passive tone control. The MR5S bridge also allows individual string-spacing changes, and a hardshell case is included.
