Flawless Intonation Across All Seven Strings With Multi-Scale Design You can explore the creative potential of seven strings without compromise thanks to the BTB7MS's meticulously engineered multi-scale layout. This design provides optimized string tension and intonation across the entire range of the neck. The two outermost strings have a longer 35" scale length, while the interior strings gradually shorten in scale length toward the center, with the middle string being the shortest at 33.5". This staggered scale length evens out the tension between the various string gages, promoting fantastic tuning stability. It also means consistent intonation up and down the neck, letting you play complex chords with complete confidence. The multi-scale configuration enhances playability as well, allowing for low action without fret buzz. Shape Your Sound With Versatile T1 Pickups and 3-Band EQ This bass guitar comes loaded with a pair of T1 humbucking pickups, providing the versatile tonal palette you need. These pickups deliver tight and focused bass tones across the low end, with plenty of midrange punch and crystalline highs. The dual-coil design offers flexible sound shaping, with the ability to adjust the height of each coil independently. This lets you fine-tune the voicing for everything from rock and metal to jazz and funk. Further tone crafting can be done with the onboard 3-band EQ, featuring bass, midrange and treble controls. A mid-frequency switch lets you target either 250Hz, 450Hz or 700Hz for the midrange band—ideal for honing in on the ideal tonal sweet spot. An EQ bypass switch provides access to passive tone when desired. Monstrous Sustain and Comfort With Neck-Through 9-Piece Neck The BTB7MS promotes effortless playing across its 7-string range thanks to its neck-through design featuring a 9-piece maple/panga panga/walnut neck. The increased wood mass contributes to massive sustain, allowing your notes to bloom with resonance. Neck-through construction also provides seamless access to the upper frets. The smooth neck heel allows your hand to move freely when soloing on the 24 jumbo frets. The multi-wood composition enhances the neck's rigidity and stability. Combined with its ergonomic neck shape and premium rosewood fingerboard, the BTB7MS offers outstanding comfort over extended playing sessions. Personalized String Spacing With Fully Adjustable Bridge This bass guitar caters to your individual playing style with its fully adjustable MR5S bridge. The saddle pieces can be moved closer together or farther apart, enabling truly personalized string spacing. Set the string spread to exactly match your optimal hand position and technique. The adjustable saddles also aid in achieving perfect intonation across the 7-string range. Dial in the intonation accurately for every string to get the best tone and tuning stability.
