Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The black AZ22S2MGR places Classic Custom single-coils at the neck and middle alongside a Classic Custom humbucker at the bridge. Its dyna-MIX9 system uses a five-way lever switch and Alter Switch to make nine pickup combinations available, covering single-coil, humbucker, and blended sounds without adding more controls. The alder solidbody is joined to a roasted maple neck with a satin polyurethane finish; 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets, a T106 tremolo, and locking machine heads complete the AZ Standard specification.
