Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
For Bb minor work, the PentaHarp centers its tuning on immediate pentatonic access. That makes it a direct route to melodies and solos without the complex techniques used to reach the same scale on a standard harmonica. The layout includes a blue note for blues-scale playing, permits draw bends on every hole and offers power chords or octaves without moving your mouth position. Hohner pairs Special 20 reed plates with 0.9 mm brass, stainless covers and a moisture-resistant ABS comb; a carrying case comes with it.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Playing Bb minor pentatonic lines without advanced standard-harmonica techniques.
- Using draw bends throughout the hole layout.
- Moving between single-note ideas, power chords and octaves without changing mouth position.
