Alnico V magnets
Supports the pickup’s ability to reach heavier sounds while still dialing back for mellower use.

Independent shopping perspective
Built for the neck position, the Puya is an Alnico V P90 with the midrange bite, chime, and balanced articulation associated with 1950s-style P90 sounds. Roll back the guitar’s volume and it cleans up while bringing out richer harmonics. Its output can move into heavier sounds, then be dialed back for mellower jazz, blues, rockabilly, or country work. Each handmade pickup is sold separately and comes with black and cream covers.
