The Korena take
Guild’s right-handed D-140 is a six-string, non-cutaway dreadnought in Cherry Burst. Its solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides support the model’s strong, balanced acoustic voice. A vintage-shaped Guild neck, 1.75-inch nut width, bone nut and saddle, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and 25.5-inch scale define the playing platform. The included Guild Premium gig bag gives the guitar a protected way to travel between practice, rehearsal, and performances.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Acoustic strumming parts calling for the D-140’s full-bodied and balanced voice.
- Fingerpicking work on a six-string dreadnought with a solid spruce top.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players, as the D-140 is specified only in a right-handed orientation.
- Players requiring a cutaway body for their preferred instrument layout.
