Gretsch DrumsMahogany/Maple Snare Drum 14 x 8 in. Gloss

The Gretsch mahogany/maple snare drum collection seamlessly combines the warmth and richness of mahogany with the brightness and clarity of maple, offering unparalleled versatility to suit any sound or musical preference. The 13x6" and 14x5" models feature eight plies of maple and a sharp 30-degree bearing edge, delivering a cutting, powerful backbeat with just the right amount of dark undertone, enhanced by the mahogany. For deeper, fatter tones, the 16-ply 14x6.5" and 14x8" models emphasize darker low-end resonance and a softer attack, thanks to eight plies of mahogany and a soft 30-degree bearing edge. Each drum is finished in a stunning gloss lacquer and outfitted with Tilco snare wires, 2.5 mm triple-flanged hoops, and Gretsch's newly designed full range throw-off and butt plate, ensuring both aesthetic beauty and exceptional performance.
