02What's the difference between TUSQ and TUSQ XL?
XL has PTFE lubricant mixed into the material itself. Strings slide more freely in the slots, which helps guitars with tremolos return to pitch.
03Will 1/4" fit my guitar?
Only if your nut slot is 1/4" or wider. Thinner slots mean sanding the blank down, which is doable but adds a step.
04Do I still need nut sauce or graphite?
No. The lubricant runs through the material, so freshly cut slots are already slick and stay that way as they wear.
