Independent shopping perspective
Rooted in a Les Paul layout, the Warren Haynes Standard combines a mahogany body, plain maple cap, ’60s Cherry finish, and a substantial ’50s Vintage mahogany neck. Its P-90 DC Soapbar pair is designed to retain traditional P-90 tonal character without hum, with a slightly hotter bridge pickup. The mini-toggle 15dB clean boost gives rhythm-to-lead changes a direct way to add headroom or push an amp. Indian rosewood, 22 medium-jumbo frets, handwired Orange Drop tone capacitors, an ABR-1 bridge, and aluminum stopbar complete the build.
