Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Inverness Green gives Gibson’s Non-Reverse Thunderbird Bass its own finish while retaining the model’s two Thunderbird pickups and non-reverse body shape. Separate volume controls let you combine the neck and bridge pickups, with a master tone control completing the layout. A mahogany body and neck supply the model’s warmth and sustain, joined by a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. The 3-point adjustable bridge supports intonation adjustment, and Hipshot Ultralite tuners are used to keep headstock weight down for improved balance and tuning stability.
