Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
A bold Ebony-finished take on the SJ-200 format, this Dealer Select acoustic-electric uses a Sitka spruce top, maple back and sides, and a Super Jumbo body. The source characterizes that design as expansive and articulate, with broad projection and defined note separation. A rounded maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5-inch scale, and 1.725-inch nut width shape the playing platform. When amplification is needed, the LR Baggs Element VTC system supplies soundhole volume, tone, and phase controls. A hardshell case is included.
