Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
This right-handed 1959 Les Paul Standard reissue uses a one-piece mahogany body, a hand-selected AAA figured maple top, and an authentic ’59 medium C mahogany neck. Its two double-white exposed-coil Custombuckers feature Alnico III magnets, unbalanced coils, 42 AWG wire, and an unpotted design. A three-way switch and separate volume and tone controls provide pickup-by-pickup adjustment. VOS nitrocellulose lacquer, nickel-plated hardware, and a hardshell case round out this six-string instrument.
