Strong match

Who this is for

  • Replacing a lost or bent whammy bar
  • Standard Series Strat owners specifically
  • Keeping a spare arm in the case

Consider the trade-offs

When to look elsewhere

  • Vintage-style Strats with a different arm thread or fit
  • Hardtail or fixed-bridge guitars with no tremolo block
  • Locking tremolo systems, which use their own arm

What matters in use

The specifications, translated

Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01

Standard Series fit

Cut for the Standard Series tremolo block. Other Fender bridges use different arm diameters and threading, so check yours first.

Detail 02

Stratocaster body shape

Designed around the Strat bridge position, so the arm sweeps clear of the volume knob and bridge pickup.

Detail 03

Arm only

Just the bar. Bridge, block, springs and the tension spring or collar inside the block are not part of this.

Detail 04

SSS pickup layout

Nothing about the arm changes with pickups, but the listed guitars are the standard three-single-coil Strats.

Final check

Know before you order

  1. 01Measure your existing arm's thread and diameter before ordering; Fender uses several sizes.
  2. 02A loose, floppy arm is usually the block insert, not the arm itself.
  3. 03No tip or tension spring included unless already in your bridge.

Product questions

Before you decide

Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.

01Will this fit my Strat?

It fits Standard Series Stratocaster tremolo bridges. Fender uses multiple arm diameters and threads across its lines, so compare against your current arm before buying.

02Does it come with the white tip?

This is the arm itself. If your original tip is intact you can move it over.

03My arm keeps spinning loose. Will a new arm fix it?

Usually not. Spin and wobble normally come from a worn tension spring or collar inside the tremolo block, not from the arm.

04Will this work on a hardtail Stratocaster?

No. A hardtail has a fixed bridge with no tremolo block, so there is nowhere to thread an arm.
