Strong match

Who this is for

  • American Standard Strats with a two-point tremolo
  • Replacing an arm bent from hard whammy use
  • A backup arm in the gig bag

Consider the trade-offs

When to look elsewhere

  • Vintage-style bridges, which use a screw-in arm
  • Floyd Rose, Bigsby, or other non-Fender tremolo systems
  • Fixing arm wobble caused by a worn bridge block

What matters in use

The specifications, translated

Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01

American Standard fitment

These bridges take a push-in arm held by a collet or tension screw, not a threaded one.

Detail 02

Push-in design

The arm drops in and swings freely. Height and tension are set at the bridge, not by turning the arm.

Detail 03

Arm only

No collet, tension screw, or tip. If the receiver in the block is worn, the new arm still rattles.

Detail 04

Strat-specific diameter

Shaft size is matched to Fender's US two-point block, so other bridges may hold it loosely or not at all.

Final check

Know before you order

  1. 01Confirm your bridge is two-point push-in, not vintage six-screw threaded
  2. 02Nothing else is in the box — no tip, collet, or hardware
  3. 03Persistent rattle usually points at the bridge block, not the arm

Product questions

Before you decide

Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.

01Push-in or screw-in?

Push-in. American Standard bridges use a straight shaft held by tension in the block. Vintage Strats use the threaded version instead.

02Will it fit a Mexican-made Strat?

Depends on the bridge. Players Series and other two-point models are usually compatible; six-screw vintage-style bridges are not.

03Why is my arm loose?

The tension screw or collet in the bridge block has likely worn. Adjust or replace that before assuming the arm is the problem.

04Does the tip come with it?

Plan on reusing your old tip. If it is cracked or lost, source one separately.
