Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Fender Custom Shop's limited-edition Double-Bound Stratocaster pairs an alder double-cutaway body, bound at both the top and bottom, with a quarter-sawn roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Three hand-wound, low-output vintage-style single coils sit in an SSS layout, selected by a five-way switch. Standard '50s wiring is designed to retain high frequencies as the volume is reduced, and a blender circuit extends the control options. The Aged Lake Placid Blue, Journeyman Relic guitar arrives with a Custom Shop Stratocaster hardshell case.
