Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Custom Shop ’69 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic is a three-single-coil Strat built with a two-piece select alder body and a one-piece maple neck. Its hand-wound ’69 pickup set is routed through a five-position blade switch, with a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup for positions two and four. Master volume, master tone and 1/2 blend controls give the pickup set a flexible control layout. A Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, 21 Jescar vintage frets and 25.5-inch scale complete the period-focused platform.
