All-Mahogany Construction for Warmth, Depth and Organic Character The California Deluxe Redondo Jr. All-Mahogany is built around a solid mahogany top reinforced by scalloped X-bracing, a combination that emphasizes warmth, richness and strong note fundamentals. The solid top responds dynamically to a player’s touch, producing a full, balanced voice with impressive depth for a guitar of its size. Laminated mahogany back and sides further enhance the instrument’s natural resonance and tonal complexity, creating a sound that feels mature, focused and inviting. Combined with the Redondo Jr.’s compact body dimensions, the result is an acoustic guitar that delivers remarkable fullness and character while remaining easy to carry and comfortable to play. Slim C Mahogany Neck and 24” Scale Length for Comfortable, Easy-Playing Feel The California Deluxe Redondo Jr. All-Mahogany was designed with comfort and accessibility in mind. Its slim C-shaped mahogany neck provides a familiar feel in the hand, while the shorter 24" scale length slightly reduces string tension and overall reach, creating a more relaxed playing experience. A walnut fingerboard offers a smooth, natural playing surface, while the 1.69" nut width provides comfortable string spacing for both chord work and fingerstyle playing. The satin urethane neck finish promotes effortless movement up and down the fingerboard, complementing the Redondo Jr.’s easy-playing design. A dual-action truss rod allows for precise neck adjustment, helping maintain consistent playability across a wide range of playing environments. Fishman CD-1 Electronics for Natural Amplified Acoustic Tone When plugged in, the Fishman CD-1 preamp system faithfully captures the Redondo Jr.’s natural acoustic character for live performance, recording and practice. Dedicated volume, bass and treble controls make it easy to tailor the sound to different environments, while an onboard tuner and phase control add useful stage-ready functionality. Designed to preserve the guitar’s balance, clarity and dynamic response, the system delivers a natural amplified voice that remains true to the instrument’s acoustic personality. Distinctive Fender Styling and Reliable Performance Hardware The California Deluxe Redondo Jr. All-Mahogany stands apart from traditional acoustics with a collection of design elements inspired by Fender’s electric guitar heritage. Most recognizable is the signature 6-in-line headstock, a defining feature that immediately connects the guitar to Fender’s iconic designs. Sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts provide smooth, precise tuning adjustments, while the Micarta nut and saddle and Modern Viking bridge support reliable performance and efficient string transfer. A pearloid rosette, tortoiseshell pickguard and chrome hardware complete a design that embraces Fender’s unmistakable approach to acoustic guitar craftsmanship.
