FenderCalifornia Deluxe Monterey All-Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Natural Mahogany

Some acoustic guitars command attention. Others invite you to lean in. The Fender California Deluxe Monterey All-Mahogany belongs firmly in the latter camp, pairing the focused response of the folk-inspired Monterey design with a warm, woody character that adapts effortlessly to everything from delicate fingerstyle to driving rhythms. A solid mahogany top reinforced by scalloped X-bracing delivers warmth, depth and strong fundamental response, while laminated mahogany back and sides further enhance the instrument’s natural resonance and tonal complexity. The comfortable orchestra body shape, slim C-shaped mahogany neck and full 25.5" scale length create a familiar playing experience that encourages long playing sessions and expressive musicianship. Outfitted with a Fishman CD-1 preamp system and electric-inspired touches like Fender’s signature 6-in-line headstock, the California Deluxe Monterey All-Mahogany brings together refined acoustic character and unmistakable California Series style. All-Mahogany Construction for Warmth, Depth and Musical Nuance The California Deluxe Monterey All-Mahogany takes the focused, articulate character of the Monterey platform and enriches it with the warmth and depth of all-mahogany construction. A solid mahogany pairs with scalloped X-bracing to produce strong fundamentals and a naturally rounded response, allowing notes to bloom with warmth while retaining impressive clarity. Laminated mahogany back and sides further enhance the guitar’s rich tonal character, contributing a sense of fullness and resonance that complements the Monterey’s naturally balanced voice. Combined with the orchestra body shape, the result is an acoustic guitar that feels expressive, responsive and deeply rewarding across a wide range of playing styles. Slim C Mahogany Neck and Walnut Fingerboard for Fluid Movement The California Deluxe Monterey All-Mahogany was designed to feel familiar from the first chord. Its slim C-shaped mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, encouraging fluid movement across the fingerboard without feeling oversized or restrictive. The walnut fingerboard provides a smooth, natural playing surface, while the full 25.5" scale length delivers confident string tension and strong note definition throughout the register. A satin urethane finish helps position shifts feel effortless, while the 1.6875" nut width strikes a comfortable balance between spaciousness and playability. Together, these features create a neck that stays out of the way and lets the music take center stage. Fishman CD-1 Electronics for Natural Amplified Performance The Fishman CD-1 preamp system faithfully captures the Monterey's acoustic personality when it's time to plug in. Volume, bass and treble controls make it easy to adapt to different performance environments, while and onboard tuner and phase control provide useful functionality for rehearsals, recording sessions and live shows. Designed to preserve the guitar's balance and detail, the system delivers a natural amplified sound that reflects the instrument's articulate acoustic voice. Distinctive Fender Style With Refined Modern Appointments The Monterey All-Mahogany brings a distinctly Fender perspective to acoustic guitar design. Its signature 6-in-line headstock immediately sets it apart from more traditional acoustic silhouettes, reinforcing the electric-inspired identity that defines the California Series. Sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts provide smooth, dependable tuning performance, while the Micarta nut and saddle and Modern Viking bridge support consistent response and reliable playability. Finished with a pearloid rosette, one-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and chrome hardware, the Monterey balances distinctive styling with practical, performance-minded design.
