Independent shopping perspective
Built around Adam Clayton’s Fender Jazz Bass model, this right-handed four-string combines a USA-made alder double-cutaway body with two Fender Custom Shop pickups. The Sherwood Green Metallic gloss finish continues onto the matching headstock, while the maple neck uses a custom C profile and a 9.5-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard. Vintage-style hardware includes lollipop tuners, black Jazz Bass knobs, and a high-mass bridge that accepts either string-through-body or top-load stringing. A deluxe black hardshell case with orange interior is included.
