01What's the difference between Hydraulic Black and Blue?
Color only. Both are two-ply oil-filled heads with the same construction and the same short, damped tone. Pick whichever look you want on the kit.
02Do I still need moongel with this head?
Usually not. The oil layer already does the damping, which is the point of the design. Adding gels on top will choke the tom further.
03Can I use this on a snare?
It's built as a tom batter. On a 15" snare it would sound very dead and lose the crack most players want.
04Does this come with a resonant head?
No. This is a single batter head for the top of the drum. The bottom resonant head is sold separately.
