01Will these fit a 10/12/14 kit?
No. These are cut for 12, 13 and 16 inch shells. A 10 inch tom needs a 10 inch head — the sizes are not interchangeable.
02Can I use one of these on my snare?
A 13 inch would physically fit a 13 inch snare, but these are tom batter heads. Snare batters are built differently for stick response and wire sensitivity.
03Coated or clear — what is the difference?
Coated has a textured white surface that warms the attack slightly and lets you play brushes. Clear is brighter with more attack.
04Do I need muffling with these?
Usually less than with single-ply heads. The two plies already cut overtones, so start with no tape or gels and add only if the ring bothers you.
