02Are these top or bottom heads?
Batter heads for the top playing side. You would need separate resonant heads for the underside.
03Can I use brushes on these?
No. The film is clear and smooth, so brushes slide without producing the sweeping sound a coated head gives.
04Do I need special tools to install them?
A drum key to remove and retension the tension rods. Nothing else beyond that.
