No. This is cut for a 20-inch shell. A 22-inch drum needs a 22-inch head; the diameter has to match exactly.
02Is the front head included?
No. This is the batter side, the one your pedal beater strikes. The resonant front head is sold separately.
03Will I still need a pillow inside the drum?
Usually not. The damping is adjustable at the head itself, which is the point of this design. Add internal muffling only if you want an extremely dead sound.
