This is body polish. Unfinished rosewood or ebony boards want a dedicated fretboard conditioner instead, and maple boards are usually fine with just a dry cloth.

03Is this safe on a nitrocellulose finish?
Nitro is more reactive than poly. Test on a hidden spot such as inside the control cavity edge or under the pickguard before wiping a visible surface.
