Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
DarkRay 5 combines a five-string alder body, ebony fingerboard and single neodymium humbucker with its distinctive Darkglass custom preamp. Select Clean, Alpha distortion or Omega fuzz from the LED-ring three-way switch; gain and blend controls shape the driven modes, while an active three-band EQ adds further adjustment. A smooth satin neck finish, 22 high-profile stainless-steel frets and Music Man’s 4+1 tuner arrangement complete the instrument’s playing platform.
