Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a solid mahogany, beveled SG body, this 1964 reissue combines a one-piece mahogany neck and 1960s SlimTaper profile with a bound rosewood, 22-fret fingerboard. The paired USA Gibson Custombuckers, Alnico III magnets, CTS pots, and Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors make up its electronics. A Maestro Vibrola supplies pitch modulation alongside the Tune-O-Matic bridge, while nickel hardware and Vintage Gloss finish complete the Cherry Red presentation. A black hardshell case with goldenrod interior is supplied.
