01Can I use this on a maple fretboard?
Finished maple boards are sealed, so cleaner cannot penetrate and is not needed. A damp cloth handles those. This is aimed at bare rosewood and ebony.
02Do I need to condition the board after?
Cleaning strips dirt and old oils, so dark unfinished boards usually want a conditioner afterward. That is a separate product.
03How often should I use it?
Most players do it at string changes when the board looks dull or grimy, not every time. Over-cleaning bare wood is worse than under-cleaning.
04Will it damage the frets or the neck finish?
It is made for the fingerboard. Keep it off the back of the neck and body finish, and wipe up any that runs over the edge.
