The high E is .009 and the low E is .046. Standard 9s usually end at .042, so this set gives you a thicker, tighter bottom string.
02Will these work for drop tuning?
The .046 low E holds up better in drop D than a standard 9-42 set. For lower than drop D you will want a heavier bottom still.
03Do I need a setup if I'm coming from 10s?
Check relief and intonation. The top strings pull less than 10s while the low E is close, so the neck may want a small truss rod adjustment.
04Are these coated?
No. These are uncoated strings, so expect a normal break-in and normal lifespan. Wipe them down after playing to slow corrosion.
